6000 SERIES BENEFITS
EQUUS® DIY GAUGES & TACHS
The 6000 series line includes a wide selection of 1½” and 2” gauges with 90º (electrical) and 270º (mechanical) sweeps, as well as matching tachometers for the do-it-yourselfer.
The series' increased performance and accuracy is achieved by its original equipment-type Electric Aircore meter movement or solid brass mechanical Bourdon Tube meter movement. All feature Back-Lit™ illumination and include easy-to-read mounting instructions in English, French and Spanish.

Can I purchase a gauge with a longer capillary tube?
Unfortunately there is no way to extend the capillary tube. However, we do offer a gauge 7241 that comes with 144" tubing
Can I cut the capillary tube to extend it?
There is no way of cutting the capillary tube to extend the length. The tube is filled with ether and cutting it will damage the gauge requiring a replacement gauge.

What can I do if the gauge is running hotter?
One of the trouble shooting methods we suggest is to purge the cooling system, remove any air, and add coolant. If the problem is still present we recommend contacting our technical service department.
